“At the regional level, closer to the study groups themselves, the duties of the coordinators include training tutors, following their progress in the villages and towns, ensuring the availability of materials, and organizing conferences and seminars for the exchange of experience.”

- Tutors his or her own Study Circles.
- Keeps in close and regular contact with the Training Institute Board, through the Training Coordinator.
- Contributes to the ongoing training of tutors, encouraging them to incorporate the arts and helping them to ensure that the participants carry out the required acts of service for each book. (Some of this can be achieved through the tutor encounter meetings).
- Keeps up-to-date statistics of all Study Circle participants in his or her area and passes these on to the Training Coordinator.
- Stimulates, encourages and evaluates the training process and the progress of tutors within his or her area, in consultation with the Training Coordinator.
- Advises and supports tutors and organizes regular ‘tutor encounter’ meetings to share experiences and study guidance.
- Wherever possible, visits study circles of tutors for his, or her, own learning as well as to offer support and encouragement.
- Works closely with the Area Teaching Committee (where appointed) to keep them informed of the progress of training in the cluster, to still encourage people to move through the sequence, and to mobilize tutors and participants especially regarding the acts of service.
