The Bahá’í community places great emphasis on the moral and spiritual education of children and youth, with a focus on providing ongoing opportunities for developing a sense of world citizenship and a lifelong commitment to serve humanity.
“Children are the most precious treasure a community can have, for in them are the promise and guarantee of the future”
Bahá’í children’s classes are open to children of any Faith or none. The aim is to nurture spiritually vibrant and healthy young people who will grow up without prejudice and with a positive, powerful sense that they are important to God and have a role to play in serving humanity. The classes intend to develop the virtues latent within children such as love, courtesy, generosity and fairness so that the children can grow to contribute positively to the happiness of their family and society as a whole.
Weekly children’s classes are hosted by hundreds of Bahá’í communities across the country.
