This message sets out the main achievements in the growth process undertaken by the individual, institutions and community over the course of the Five Year Plan until that point (2001-2005). It encapsulates the learning acquired over this time. It highlights the vital role the study circle tutor has played in assisting others to serve. In this document the Supreme Body announces that junior youth groups are now a fourth core activity. The message goes on to reiterate the various elements that constitute an intensive programme of growth.
The Universal House of Justice also sets important challenges: first, for the friends to extend the “edifying influence” of the intitute process to “hundreds of thousands” more souls during the next Plan (2006-2011); second, that at Ridvan 2006 the Baha’i world will be called upon to establish 1,500 new intensive programmes of growth by 2011.
